Telehandler
Telehandler Training Courses
A Telehandler (Rough Terrain) machine is able to move over rough ground and is commonly found within the agriculture and construction industries. A telehandler is a type of Forklift Truck, but due to the fact that it can reach out as well as upwards, which makes this type of truck extremely versatile. They are very manoeuvrable with steering setting, 2 well steer – used for on a highway, 4 wheel steer – on site (all wheels steer) and Crab steer – which moves diagonally.
These machines come in a large range of types, from small compact machines for confined spaces to large machines that have hydraulic stabilisers with slew (able to tilt machine to stay horizontal) capabilities.
